Ukraine Strikes One of Russia's Largest Power Plants
According to reports circulated on Russian social media, the Kostroma State Regional Power Station has been subjected to a massive attack. Local residents indicate that explosions occurred within the plant area following the strikes, and a fire has broken out.
The Kostroma State Regional Power Station has a capacity of 3720 megawatts and is considered the third-largest thermal power station in Russia. It supplies electricity to several regions in the Central Federal District.
Currently, there are no official confirmations or comments from Russian authorities; however, various sources suggest that power supply disruptions may arise in the region as a result of the attack.
