Tomorrow the strongest geomagnetic storm of the year is expected
Tomorrow the strongest geomagnetic storm of the year is expected. This was reported by the director of the Meteorological and Monitoring Center, Levon Azizyan.
“Currently, even in its weakened form (not taking into account the nighttime emissions), forecasts from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Russian Academy of Sciences indicate storms in the G3-G4 range, meaning they vary from strong to very strong. As the day progresses, this range will likely shift to G4-G5 (extremely strong) range.
This means that disturbances in the Earth’s magnetic field can significantly affect both technical systems and human well-being.
What can a magnetic storm do to us?
As a rule, the disruptions it causes negatively impact the elderly and individuals with weakened immune systems. Those who are sensitive to this phenomenon may experience fatigue, headaches, discomfort, fluctuations in blood pressure, and difficulty concentrating.
How to protect yourself?
During magnetic storms, doctors recommend maintaining a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, avoiding animal fats. Drinking plenty of water is also very helpful. Spending a few hours in the fresh air is advised.
