Fire on Komitas Avenue Extinguished: One Injured Hospitalized
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the fire that broke out in a food establishment on Komitas Avenue has been extinguished.
As previously reported, a fire erupted at one of the food establishments on Komitas Avenue in Yerevan. Four fire-fighting teams and one aerial ladder from the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue department were dispatched to the scene on a "1 BИС" complex call.
Due to the fire's complexity, a "Number 3 call" has been declared, resulting in the dispatch of an additional ten fire teams, one aerial ladder, as well as emergency response units for firefighting and rescue operations, psychological support, and medical provision. The Community Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Patrol Service, and Police Guard officers also joined the firefighting efforts.
According to preliminary data, one person has been hospitalized in a medical center. Rescuers managed to prevent the spread of the fire to other parts of the building and an adjacent gas station.
