EU Ambassador Discusses Armenian-Azerbaijani Peace Agenda in Baku
The EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, Magdalena Grono, has reported holding high-level consultations in Baku with Azerbaijani leadership and experts.
According to her, meetings took place with Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Presidential Assistant Hikmet Hajiyev, Presidential Envoy Elchin Amirbekov, and several other officials.
Grono stated that various issues related to the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan were discussed, including connectivity, Nakhchivan, regional cooperation, and humanitarian topics.
“The EU is committed to continuing cooperation with both Armenia and Azerbaijan to maintain the dynamics established after Washington and to spread the benefits of peace throughout the region,” she noted.
