We Do Not Accept Azerbaijan's Demand: Armenian Constitution Cannot Be a Source of Concern, Mirzoyan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, has stated that Armenia does not share the perception that there could be any provision in the country's Constitution that raises concerns for Azerbaijan.
“We do not accept this as part of the negotiation agenda and do not negotiate on this matter. We do not even have an agreement regarding the notion that the Constitution of Armenia or Azerbaijan, which we believe poses certain threats to Armenia's territorial integrity, should be part of the negotiation agenda,” said Mirzoyan.
The minister emphasized that discussions on constitutional provisions are outside the framework of the peace process.
