The Peace Declaration is a Significant Milestone: Armen Grigoryan

The signing of a joint declaration affirming the desire to establish peace and normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan has become a crucial milestone in the peace process. This was stated by the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, during the 13th meeting of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of CIS countries.

He noted that the declaration represents an important step towards strengthening mutual trust between the two countries and ensuring stability in the region.

Grigoryan also referenced the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration, highlighting that it is a founding document of the CIS and has played a key role in shaping the foundations of the ongoing peace process. “Based on this, we continue to build our cooperation,” emphasized the Secretary of the Security Council.
