Russian Grain-Transporting Train to Arrive in Armenia Soon
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Mher Grigoryan, has announced that a train transporting Russian grain to Armenia will soon arrive via Azerbaijani territory.
Grigoryan made this statement in response to a question from Armenpress. He was asked whether the announcement by the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the lifting of restrictions on cargo transportation towards Armenia also pertains to shipments from Russia by railway.
"Yes, and at this moment, the train carrying grain from Russia is already passing through Azerbaijani territory towards Georgia. The Russian grain-transporting train will soon arrive in Armenia," Grigoryan stated.
Taking this opportunity, he expressed his high regard for the work accomplished by his Azerbaijani and Russian colleagues in this regard. He emphasized that this event holds significant importance for strengthening mutual trust and promoting the peace agenda.
