I Do Not See Peace: Serzh Sargsyan
The third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, stated today, on November 5, in a conversation with journalists outside the Anti-Corruption Court, that he does not see peace. “I do not see peace, I simply do not see it,” said Sargsyan, responding to remarks about wheat reaching Armenia through Azerbaijan while discussions of peace are ongoing.
Today, a court hearing is scheduled concerning Sargsyan’s case at the Anti-Corruption Court, which was not previously planned. When asked whether a new measure of restraint might be chosen during the hearing, considering that the prohibition of his absence has been lifted in two cases, Sargsyan replied, “Most likely, the hearing will take place, we will see.”
