Court Rejects Motion to Impose Restrictions on Serzh Sargsyan
The Anti-Corruption Court judge Aram Grigoryan has rejected the prosecution's motion to impose a restriction preventing the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, from leaving the country.
Today, public prosecutors submitted the same motion for the second time to different judges. The first judge to deny the request was Givi Hovhannisyan, and the same decision was recently made by Judge Aram Grigoryan.
The prosecution sought to impose a restriction preventing Sargsyan from absenting himself from the territory of Armenia; however, the court found that such a measure was not necessary.
