Zelensky's Clear Message to Trump

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has stated that his country needs U.S. support in the field of long-range weapons, as their presence could have a deterrent effect.

According to РБК-Украина, Zelensky mentioned that Russia is currently striving for a military victory over Ukraine, but this will not succeed if Europe continues to exert pressure on Russia.

“The United States must be sincere about the possibilities of long-range weapons. This is very important. Even as a deterrent, we need to have them so we can use them,” emphasized Zelensky.

He noted that the new sanctions imposed by Donald Trump against Russia are significant, but they cannot be limited to just that. “We need secondary sanctions, we need additional, stricter sanctions on gas, as well as on the Russian Federation's nuclear energy sector,” added Zelensky.

It has been reported that during Zelensky's recent meeting, U.S. President Donald Trump refused to supply Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles.
