Pashazadeh Once Again Accuses the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

During a meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, the so-called head of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh, has once again leveled accusations against the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

"In the current situation, when the political leadership of Azerbaijan and Armenia is making efforts to build peace in a constructive cooperation atmosphere, the Armenian Church and the diaspora are conducting destructive propaganda with all their might to obstruct this process. We see that while the political leaders of both countries are taking steps towards peace, the Armenian Church is calling for revenge and new confrontation," Pashazadeh continued his unfounded allegations.

The Azerbaijani cleric also attempted to present the destruction and appropriation of Armenian cultural heritage in Artsakh as restoration work.
