US Treasury Department Makes Exemption for Lukashenko's Aircraft

The US Treasury Department has made an exemption for three aircraft associated with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. According to the published license, financial and transactional operations are permitted for the aircraft marked EW-001PA, EW-001PB, and EW-001PH, which were previously included in the list of American sanctions.

The document states that this permission extends to the use of the specified aircraft by both Lukashenko personally and the Belarusian company 'Slavkali'. At the same time, it is emphasized that this pertains only to the mentioned aircraft, and this decision does not imply the removal of any other restrictions.

The granting of the license is considered an exceptional step intended to facilitate technical or financial transactions; however, US sanctions policy against Belarus remains in effect.
