Putin Signs Annual Draft Law

Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a law that establishes a new procedure for military draft that will be implemented throughout the year. According to the document, the draft process will operate continuously from January 1 to December 31.

The law also provides for the involvement of reservists for the preservation and protection of important strategic infrastructures. This provision applies to citizens registered as reservists who may participate in activities related to ensuring national security.

According to government data, the changes aim to improve the military personnel replenishment system and enhance the country's defense capability. The new regulations will come into effect after the official publication of the law.
