HAMAS Discusses Option of Surrendering Heavy Weapons

In ongoing negotiations surrounding Gaza, American mediator Bichar Bahbah has revealed that the HAMAS movement is open to discussing the possibility of surrendering heavy weapons.

“HAMAS has expressed its willingness to consider the option of surrendering heavy weapons and is open to such a format,” he stated.

According to him, Washington has reacted positively to this initiative. The U.S. administration has expressed its readiness to support the format if it will contribute to stabilizing the situation in Gaza and advancing the peace process.
