Father to Be Detained in the Murder Case of 3-Year-Old Tigran

In the murder case of 3-year-old Tigran Ovanesov, the arrested father is set to be detained. The Investigative Committee has reported to "Armenian Time" that a motion has been submitted to the court to apply detention as a measure of restraint.

Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan confirmed that the incident was indeed a murder. According to the minister, the man strangled his own son. Preliminary information suggests that the children encountered their father outside, at which point the crime was committed.

Sargsyan noted that the father moved the child's body several times to different locations, complicating search efforts. The Investigative Committee reported that bodily injuries were found on the child’s body and head.

It is recalled that on November 2, rescuers, patrol officers, and police discovered Tigran Ovanesov's body about 60 meters from the sign leading to the village of Jil, in an open area near the village of Zapataq.
