Why Students Went to Dilijan: Details from Valeri Bryusov University
Valeri Bryusov State University has provided information regarding an incident that occurred in Dilijan.
“Today, on November 2, a traffic accident involving a group of students from Valeri Bryusov State University took place in the Tavush region, on the road leading to the Haghartsin monastery complex. The students were on a scientific-educational trip organized by the university's student council.
As a result of the incident, several students sustained varying degrees of bodily injuries. The injured were transported to the Tavush regional medical center, where they are undergoing necessary examinations and receiving appropriate medical care. One student’s condition is assessed as serious, while the others are considered to be in moderate condition. If necessary, arrangements will be made for their transfer to medical institutions in Yerevan.
It should be noted that the university administration and representatives from the student council are currently at the scene to provide necessary support to the students. Valeri Bryusov State University is closely monitoring the situation and will provide additional information as needed.”
