Ten People Electrocuted and Killed in Bus Incident, Driver Flees in India

In the Indian state of West Bengal, ten people have died and 16 others have been injured due to electrocution in a vehicle. Local ANI news agency reported this citing police sources.

The incident occurred in the town of Cooch Behar. A microbus carrying 27 people experienced a short circuit in its generator, which led to the electrocution of the passengers. The driver managed to escape injury and fled the scene.

The condition of the injured individuals is reported to be stable. An investigation is underway.
