Arthur Khachatryan on Pashinyan's Possible "Attack"

MP from the "Hayastan" faction Arthur Khachatryan has stated that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's "attack on the cathedral" must be prevented, and such actions should not be allowed.

"We must prevent Pashinyan's attack on the cathedral and simply not allow it," Khachatryan mentioned during a conversation with reporters on November 2, in the courtyard of the Mother See.

According to him, there has already been one attempt, but it failed: "There was one attempt, and they saw that people came spontaneously, gathered, and that is why they postponed their assault plan. Of course, he will try, but the popular wall will not allow one of the most important pillars of our identity to be desecrated."

The MP also noted that three diocesan leaders are under arrest and suggested that Pashinyan might go for a "frontal attack."

"Pashinyan's power lies in the administrative apparatus and the legal apparatus; we saw who were in Ohanavan," Khachatryan added.
