Ukraine Destroys Russian 'Oreshnik' Missile in Operation, Says Vasyl Maliuk

The head of Ukraine's Security Service, Vasyl Maliuk, has revealed that last summer, Ukrainian forces successfully destroyed one of Russia's 'Oreshnik' missiles. According to him, only a few national leaders were informed about the operation, and the results have not been made public until now.

Maliuk noted that the operation was a covert sabotage that completely eliminated the system. He emphasized that the destruction was one hundred percent successful.

Reports indicate that one of the missile systems exploded at the Kapustin Yar military range in the Astrakhan region. The Russian side has not provided any official comment regarding the incident.
