What Was Discussed During the Pashinyan-Macron Meeting
A meeting took place at the Élysée Palace between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron. The interlocutors discussed several agenda items related to the strategic relations between Armenia and France.
In particular, topics related to cooperation in the fields of economy, infrastructure, and other sectors were addressed. Nikol Pashinyan and Emmanuel Macron once again emphasized that bilateral cooperation is of strategic significance and expressed their willingness to continue taking consistent steps in this direction.
Subsequently, regional issues of significance were discussed. The President of France congratulated on the occasion of establishing peace with Azerbaijan and reiterated France's unwavering support for Armenia's territorial sovereignty and the strengthening of peace.
Exchanges of ideas were made regarding the TRIPP project and steps being taken to unblock communication routes in the region. In this context, the Prime Minister addressed the progress of the work being carried out.
Nikol Pashinyan and Emmanuel Macron also discussed matters related to further developing Armenia-European Union cooperation. The parties underscored the importance of consistently expanding relations under the new agenda of Armenia-EU partnership.
