Support Programs for Displaced Persons from Nagorno-Karabakh to be Expanded: Torosyan

In 2026, the government will increase support measures for displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh by 20 billion dram compared to the 2025 budget. This was announced by Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan.

Presenting the draft state budget for 2026, he noted that 55 billion dram will be allocated to support various social groups in order to respond to crises and mitigate the consequences of emergencies.

“This is an increase of 20 billion dram or 57.1 percent compared to the previous year,” Torosyan emphasized. He stated that the budget includes housing support and ongoing assistance programs.
