Investigative Committee on Nathan Saint's Phone Conversation Case

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has decided not to initiate a criminal case regarding the violation of confidentiality of Nathan Saint's phone conversation. This information was shared with Auroranews.am by the committee's spokeswoman, Kima Avdalyan.

“A report on three complaints has been drafted for not initiating proceedings and has been sent for the approval of the supervising prosecutor,” Avdalyan stated.

It is worth recalling that days ago, a recording was published online in which former priest and former staff member of the Catholicos, Aghan Yeranjakyan, allegedly complained that Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II was forcing him to participate in anti-government protests. Additionally, it should be noted that a criminal case had previously been initiated based on the controversial recording.
