Bayramov on Negotiations for Peace Agreement Between Baku and Yerevan
During a diplomatic forum held in Antalya, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jayhun Bayramov spoke about the negotiations regarding a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan, noting that there is positive dynamics observed.
“Personal meetings are important in this process. Recently, we can record positive dynamics in that direction. First, I would like to mention the meeting between the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia at the Munich Security Conference, which was initiated by the Chancellor of Germany. Overall, we assess this meeting positively. After this meeting, a decision was made to hold a meeting of the foreign ministers,” Bayramov stated.
He emphasized that the peace agreement should be permanent to prevent additional issues from arising in the future. Meetings of delegations regarding the establishment of peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia are of significant importance, highlighting that there have not been negotiations in this format regarding the peace agreement in the past seven months.
It is noteworthy that the negotiations between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan began in Berlin on February 28 and continued on February 29.
