US Makes New Statement on Russian Territories
Russia will not agree to a peace treaty regarding Ukraine without guarantees for the security of its territories. This was stated by Stephen Bryen, a former deputy assistant to the U.S. Secretary of Defense.
“There will be no agreement until the Kremlin receives clear guarantees for the security of its territories,” he noted. Bryen also recalled the words of EU foreign affairs minister Kaja Kallas, who said that Europe’s goal is to fragment Russia into smaller states in the context of the Ukraine conflict.
