Syria Recognizes the Independence of Kosovo

Syria has officially recognized the independence of Kosovo. This was announced by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"Syria declares the official recognition of the Republic of Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state, reaffirming its commitment to the right of nations to self-determination," the statement reads.

The announcement follows a trilateral meeting held in Riyadh between the leaders of Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Kosovo.
