NATO Will Annihilate Moscow If Putin Attacks the Alliance, Says Belgian Defense Minister

Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken has stated that if Putin uses nuclear or even conventional weapons against NATO countries, the response will be devastating. The alliance will "wipe Moscow off the face of the earth." This comment comes in response to Russian threats regarding the potential supply of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

Francken reminded that similar threats had been made in the past against Finland and Sweden when they were joining NATO, as well as when allies were supplying tanks and planes to Ukraine. According to him, this is clear blackmail that should not be succumbed to.
