Iran is secretly expanding its missile program with the aid of China, according to CNN. Western intelligence reports indicate that Iran is actively ramping up the resumption of its ballistic program, despite the re-imposition of UN sanctions that prohibit arms sales and activities related to ballistic missiles.

Large quantities of sodium perchlorate, a critical component for rocket fuel, have recently arrived from China at the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas following the activation of the snapback mechanism in September. Experts believe this effort is part of Tehran's strategy to replenish the exhausted stock of missiles after the conflict with Israel in June.
