The Wife of Alexander Kochubayev is in Critical Condition: Lawyer Appeals to the Chief Prosecutor

Lawyer Erik Aleksanyan has sent an open letter to the Chief Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, requesting the removal of the detention measure imposed on Alexander Kochubayev.

Aleksanyan noted that the criminal case against Kochubayev has not yet been forwarded to the court and urged the prosecutor to exercise her exclusive authority to change the preventive measure.

In the letter, the lawyer emphasized that Kochubayev's wife's health condition has sharply deteriorated following childbirth. He added that a medical certificate can be provided to the prosecutor's office immediately if necessary, but the details cannot be disclosed due to medical confidentiality.
