Former RPA Businessman Selling Major Enterprise: 'Hraparak'
'Hraparak' writes: Information has emerged that Ashot Arsenyan, a former parliamentarian from the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and owner of 'Jermuk Group', is selling a large livestock farm owned by his family. The name of the potential buyer is even circulating—David Yeremyan, the CEO of 'Yeremyan Projects'.
The aforementioned organization encompasses the 'Pandok Yerevan' restaurant chain, 'Yerevan Shawarma', as well as the 'Lavash' and 'Sherap' restaurants. However, Norair Movsisyan, the financial director of Ashot Arsenyan's company, conveyed to us that they are not selling the farm, but rather implementing an investment program. 'The individual has presented an investment program, and we have agreed; we want to increase the livestock population to ensure there is clean, untainted meat in the local market,' he stated.
Movsisyan did not wish to disclose the name of the 'partner' and indicated that there is not a new shareholder joining the farm, but rather they are working based on a collaboration agreement. 'The opening will be public, and you will see our partner. An investment program has been presented; this is one of the financial options we have approved, we are doing joint work, and in the end, we will clarify our relationship.'
