No Trace Found: Last Seen with Brother, 3-Year-Old Tigran Missing
In the village of Tsapatagh in the Gegharkunik region, the search for 3-year-old Tigran Ovanesov has been ongoing for two days. According to the police, the child went outside with his 5-year-old brother around 4:30 PM on October 27, but some time later, the brother returned alone. The boy has a speech impairment and is unable to recount what happened, reports Sputnik Armenia.
Local resident Vahan Hambardzumyan stated that he joined the search efforts as soon as he heard about Tigran's disappearance: “We are still looking, but there is no trace—neither clothing nor shoes. The last time I saw the children, they were in their yard, and later I heard that the brother returned alone from the train tracks,” he noted.
The village nurse, Almast Vardanyan, described the family as calm and hardworking, involved in agriculture and livestock. She pointed out that Tigran always arrived at kindergarten clean and tidy, and the family is very caring towards their children. “The mother loves her child very much, and the allegations being spread are simply absurd,” the nurse said.
It is worth mentioning that, according to neighbors, the Ovanesov children have various health issues. The police continue to conduct search operations, including the involvement of water rescue units. Approximately 500 people are participating in the rescue efforts, including rescue service employees, volunteers, and villagers. The operations are taking place throughout the village and in the surrounding areas, extending to the lake located about one kilometer away.
