Lukashenko on Peace Between Armenia and Azerbaijan: 'Hope This Will Be Long-Term'
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has stated that several long-standing conflicts have recently found resolutions. He expressed hope that these solutions will be stable and long-lasting. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“Recently, resolutions have been found for several long-standing conflicts, and I hope that these will be long-term. Azerbaijan and Armenia have signed a peace agreement. The two-year war in Gaza has also come to a halt. This is only the beginning. But let’s hope for a good start,” said Lukashenko during his speech at the third international conference on Eurasian security held in Minsk.
According to the president, despite some positive developments, there is still little hope in several “hot spots” around the world.
