Court in Baku Makes New Ruling on Arrested Russian Citizens

The Sabail District Court in Baku has decided to extend the detention of Russian citizens for another three months. This information was disclosed by their lawyer, Elchin Sadigov.

According to him, the detainees were arrested as a result of operations conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, relating to the transportation and trafficking of drugs from Iran, as well as incidents of cyber fraud.

It is noteworthy that on July 1, the court had imposed a detention measure on them for a period of four months.
