US Reacts to Putin's 'Burevestnik' Missile Test, Calling It a 'Sharp Signal' to the West

The United States has stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin's announcement of the successful test of the 'Burevestnik' nuclear missile is viewed as a 'sharp signal' to the West. This has been reported by The New York Times, noting that the missile is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and is expected to be included in Russia's arsenal soon.

According to the publication, the missile operates on nuclear energy and is capable of long-duration flights while being able to circumvent existing air defense systems. Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov reported that during the test, the missile traveled approximately 14,000 kilometers and remained airborne for about 15 hours.

Following the successful test, Vladimir Putin ordered the initiation of the 'Burevestnik' complex's incorporation into the Russian armed forces, emphasizing its strategic significance.
