NATO to Strengthen Intelligence in the Black Sea
Following the suspension of the grain deal, the North Atlantic Alliance will enhance intelligence operations in the Black Sea region, including through the use of drones, according to a statement following the Ukraine-NATO council.
According to a document cited by RIA Novosti, the alliance and its members are "increasing surveillance and intelligence in the Black Sea region, including through maritime patrol aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles."
According to NATO, the alliance's presence in the region has been bolstered over the past year, including through two new multinational battle groups in Bulgaria and Romania.
