Pashinyan to Attend Another Divine Liturgy in Hovhannavank

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, will participate in another divine liturgy at Hovhannavank on November 2.

"Today was the day to kneel before our Lord and Teacher Jesus Christ and to ask for forgiveness. The agenda for the liberation of our Holy See, the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, is primarily an agenda for renovation, a spiritual renovation agenda for the Armenian Apostolic Church, which greatly reflects the renewal of the soul and spiritual life of its followers, of each one of us. I primarily speak for myself. And today’s liturgy marks an important starting point for the renewal of my soul and spiritual life. I hope that all those who support the agenda of liberating our Holy See, the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, and the spiritual renovation of the Armenian Apostolic Church will start this process within themselves for their own soul and spiritual life renewal. Because we must be worthy of our Holy See on the path to liberating the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin and renovating the Armenian Apostolic Church. I also want to say that I will participate in the Holy and Immortal liturgy at Hovhannavank next Sunday as well," said Pashinyan.
