Government to Allocate 55 Billion Drams to Displaced Persons from Artsakh
The Armenian government plans to allocate 55 billion drams in 2026 for the support of citizens forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this in the National Assembly while presenting the state budget proposal.
According to the Prime Minister, the funds will be used to address housing, social, and economic issues that have arisen after displacement. "The 55 billion drams will be allocated for the housing and other needs of our sisters and brothers from Artsakh," Pashinyan stated.
He emphasized that the government will continue to support all families displaced from Artsakh by providing them with stable social conditions and involving them in economic programs. The 2026 state budget, according to the Prime Minister, will aim not only to alleviate social issues but also to maintain economic growth and ensure long-term sustainable development.
