Fire Breaks Out in Hotel Complex in Sevan

On October 27, at 07:49, the emergency management center of the Gegharkunik regional rescue department received a call about a fire that had broken out in one of the recreational zones of Sevan. Two fire units from the regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.

It was found that the fire had originated in the kitchen area of a hotel and restaurant complex located on Yerevanian Highway. Thanks to the actions of the rescuers, the fire was contained by 08:19 and fully extinguished by 08:51.

According to preliminary data, the suspended ceiling of the kitchen, covering an area of approximately 48 square meters, was burned. The timely response prevented the fire from spreading to the other areas of the complex. No information has been reported regarding casualties.
