Practical Phase of Liberation of Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin: Prime Minister on Today's Service

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan released a video early this morning, addressing the service taking place at Hovhannavank. He stated, "What does today's service at Hovhannavank symbolize? The service will signify the start of the practical phase of the liberation of the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin."

It is worth noting that Nikol Pashinyan announced on social media that he would participate in the Sunday service intended to be conducted by Father Aram Asatryan. Asatryan was defrocked on October 21, based on the report from the leader of the Aragatsotn Diocese and the conclusion of the Armenian Apostolic Church's disciplinary committee, which indicated that Father Asatryan had discredited the Armenian Apostolic Church, the diocesan leader, and other clergy with his public statements and declarations.

The Sunday service at Hovhannavank will begin at 11:00 AM.
