Azerbaijan Ready to Transport Russian Goods to Armenia, Says Ovruchuk
Azerbaijan is ready to transport Russian goods to Armenia. This was announced by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Ovruchuk.
“Two days ago, the Azerbaijani side confirmed to us the possibility of transporting Russian goods via Azerbaijani railways to Armenia. In this regard, we have also achieved very interesting progress. Currently, 'Russian Railways' is discussing the organization of these freight transportations with its partners in the region. At the same time, we have given appropriate instructions to the Ministry of Agriculture to develop this new logistics route,” Ovruchuk said to reporters.
He also noted that the progress of the construction of the Azerbaijani section of the North-South corridor is clearly visible.
