Dust Levels Exceed Permissible Limits in Yerevan

The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center has reported on the air quality in Yerevan for the period of October 15-21, 2025. The dust levels have surpassed the permissible concentration limits.

Specifically, the Center indicated that on October 16 and 21, the levels in the Kentron area exceeded the limits, while in Arabkir on October 20, and in Nor Nork on October 16 and 18, the limits were also breached. In Shengavit, however, levels did not exceed the permissible concentration.

Moreover, the concentration of nitrogen dioxide has also exceeded permissible levels in Nor Nork on October 17, and in Arabkir from October 15-19 and on the 21st. In Shengavit, it exceeded the limits from October 15-17, while in Kentron it remained within acceptable levels. The concentration of sulfur dioxide did not exceed the permissible concentration limits.
