Armenia is Acquiring Exclusively New Generation Weapons, Says Suren Papikyan

Armenia is exclusively acquiring new generation weapons, stated the Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan during a broadcast on Public Television.

“Armenia will use its armament and military forces solely to protect its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence. We have no intention to employ our armed forces outside the borders of Armenia.

We have also boosted our local defense industry over the years, and we possess new, domestically produced weapons that are entirely the result of Armenian ingenuity. We must do everything to ensure that Armenian weapons are competitive in quality and enter the market,” he emphasized.
