Tsarukyan Confirms at Urgent BHK Meeting: Resignations Are Necessary

A meeting of the National Assembly’s Prosperous Armenia faction was held under the leadership of Gagik Tsarukyan, during which both the events following the urgent meeting and the faction's and party's upcoming activities were discussed. This was stated today, June 9, in an interview with NEWS.am by Iveta Tonoyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia faction.

“We have nothing to add to the previous statements. The president of the Prosperous Armenia party clearly stated during the urgent meeting that the government has completely failed its work, and there is a felt need for radical changes, including in the form of resignations. A working discussion was held under the leadership of the party president; nothing is being carried out in an urgent mode. Our political council meeting was urgent, and we said that this agenda was forced upon us due to the situation created in the country, of which we have already sent out a statement,” she said.
