If It’s a Lie, Say It’s a Lie; If It’s Not, Come Out of the Monastery: Rubinyan to Kitrich Nersisyan
Ofelya
The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, stated the following:
As of now, there have been public accusations in the media that Kitrich Nersisyan has not denied:
- Kitrich Nersisyan has a daughter.
- Kitrich Nersisyan's brother, Yezeras the Bishop, is a KGB agent.
- One of the bishops has had a romantic involvement with underage boys.
- Kitrich Nersisyan forced Father Aghani to participate in an anti-government protest with his grieving mother, and then they acted in such a way that he would leave his spiritual service in order to avoid punishment.
I have not yet addressed the allegations for which there are already criminal cases pending. Are we not deserving of any response to these very serious accusations? If it’s a lie, say it’s a lie; if it’s not, come out of the monastery and answer!
P.S. There is one accusation that has been denied: that the “Armenia” bloc’s campaign posters of Kocharyan were posted in the Mother See. It turned out that they lied again in their denial, because the poster was indeed posted.
