Fourth Day of Silence on Allegations Against Current Archbishop, Says Aleksanyan

Vahagn Aleksanyan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction in the National Assembly, posted on his Facebook page regarding the recent shocking statement made by Doctor of Theology Harutyun Harutyunyan.

“It has been the fourth day since a former church servant disclosed that one of the current archbishops has committed sexual assaults against SEMINARY BOYS. Zero response from the people of Ktrich: they have neither denied it, nor stated that they will conduct an investigation, nor mentioned that they will initiate disciplinary proceedings. So, what now? This is not some priest who refused to go to Kocharyan's rally that you would twist the neck of in two minutes and throw out of the church with a disciplinary commission,” wrote Aleksanyan.
