The Opposition Is in Another Movie: Pashinyan
The opposition is in another movie: that movie has long ended, but they continue to remain in it. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a Q&A session with the government in the National Assembly.
“The movie is over, they keep pulling out the spoiled frames, gluing them behind and the script of that movie is about the fact that Armenia is collapsing because the object of their activity is the collapsing Armenia. When Armenia is not collapsing, they cannot relate to that Armenia because their culture is about relating to a collapsing Armenia. In order for them to exist, there must be a script of Armenia's collapse. Why is the opposition absent? Because all their theses have been shattered. For example, if they come now, what will they ask? You can't continuously govern politics with spoiled frames like that. And the story that we present is interesting for two reasons: first, it has just begun, and its logics of launch and continuation are entirely about something else. Today, Armenia is a blossoming, developing, sovereign, independent, self-sufficient state. We are doing what our people want,” he noted.
