Narek Ohanyan Shares Details of His Brother's Death

Today, during the court hearing at the Armavir Court of General Jurisdiction, Narek Ohanyan, the brother of Grigor Ohanyan who was shot dead on February 5 in Mrazavan, provided testimony.

He stated that he did not notice Valodya Grigoryan’s brother, Paykar Grigoryan, firing. “Armen Ghazaryan pointed a gun at me from about two meters away, saying, ‘Don’t come closer, or I will shoot.’ I used profanity and told him to step back, and disregarding the presence of the weapon, I hit him in the face. He then stepped back about 20 meters and started firing randomly in our direction, resulting in injuries to Grigor Ohanyan and Sergey Narmadyan,” he said.

According to his testimony, Andranik Azaryan, Arthur Galstyan, regional governor Galstyan, Vladimir Khderyan, and others were present.

It should be noted that on February 5, a murder occurred in Mrazavan, prior to the local self-government elections in Parakar, targeting the house of administrative head Mher Akhtoyan, leading to the death of Akhtoyan's cousin, 29-year-old Grigor Ohanyan, and injuring another individual. As part of the criminal case, 37-year-old Paykar Grigoryan, the brother of Valodya Grigoryan, was arrested.
