Latvia will not grant permission for Russian President Vladimir Putin's plane to fly over its territory for a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Budapest. This was stated by the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a comment to the LETA news agency.
“Latvia sees no opportunity to grant permission for the plane to fly through its airspace,” the ministry emphasized.
In turn, the former commander of the Polish GROM special forces, General Roman Polko, even claimed that Polish pilots could allegedly 'shoot down' the plane transporting Putin to Hungary.
