Prosecutor's Office Appeals Verdict Against Bishop Mikhail

The Prosecutor's Office has appealed the verdict issued regarding Bishop Mikhail, specifically concerning the punishment, and has requested the Court of Appeal to impose a sentence of 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment.

According to the defense team, the Prosecutor's Office is hastily filing an appeal in an attempt to “control” the process of appointing preferred judges at the Court of Appeal and to ensure a swift resolution of the case.
