Principal of Ejmiadzin Number 1 School Dismissed by Phone, Protest Held Outside the Ministry of Education
The principal of Ejmiadzin Number 1 School has been dismissed via phone, prompting teachers to hold a protest outside the Ministry of Education and Science.
“We have come here to submit a petition to the minister, and we will also give one to the prime minister. The allegations against our school principal are baseless. It has been argued that he did not show political restraint, but no political issues have been discussed or spoken of in our school. I have never seen a devoted person like our principal; the school only benefits from having such a leader,” stated a mathematics teacher at the school.
According to circulating rumors, Argist Mkhakyan, the acting governor of Ararat Province from the ruling Republican Party, intends to appoint a friend to the position of school principal.
