Pashinyan is Trying to Neutralize Those Who Can Influence with Their Words, Says Anna Grigoryan
“Before the elections, Nikol Pashinyan is trying to neutralize all those individuals who can have influence through their words and actions. I do not know what justification they will provide, but it is evident that this has a political context. There is no legal basis for this; there is a single person who is today both the judge, the prosecutor, the investigator, and the one sitting in the prime minister’s chair,” said Anna Grigoryan, a member of the Armenia parliamentary 'Hayastan' faction, during a briefing with journalists regarding the arrest of Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan.
“You cannot maintain power by force indefinitely; this wave will lead to a backlash. He should not think he is stronger than Saakashvili or Gaddafi; tyrants like him have come and gone. This regime will surely come to an end,” the opposition MP added.
